CaseBright User Manual

Welcome to CaseBright — a case management platform built for immigration law firms and legal teams. This manual walks you through every section of the application so your team can get up and running quickly.

How to use this manual

The chapters are ordered so that each one builds on the previous. If you are setting up CaseBright for the first time, follow the chapters in order:

  1. Admin Settings — configure your organization, security, integrations, and system-wide metadata first.
  2. Org Settings — set up your team members, groups, and permission roles.
  3. Workflows & Templates — define the processes your team will follow for every case type.
  4. Day-to-day work — Leads, Clients, Cases, Tasks, and more.

If you are a staff member joining an already-configured organization, you can jump directly to the chapter for the section you need.

Who can do what

Access to each section is controlled by permissions. Your organization administrator assigns a role to your account, and that role determines which menu items you can see and what actions you can take. Throughout this manual you will see notes like:

Permission required: admin.read

This tells you which permission is needed to access that feature.
