Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you log in. It gives administrators and managers a real-time picture of the firm's activity across cases, leads, clients, and team performance.
Navigate to Dashboard in the left sidebar (or click the CaseBright logo).
Permission required:
org.read(or a combination of read permissions depending on your role)
1. Overview Tab
The Overview tab is the default view. It contains high-level metrics and a summary of what's happening right now across the firm.
Summary cards
The top row shows key numbers at a glance:

| New Clients | Clients added in the current period |
| Active Cases | Cases currently In Progress |
| Team Members | Total active users in your organization |
| Lead Conversion | Percentage of leads that converted to cases |
| Overdue Items | Steps or follow ups that are past their due date |
| Due Today | Items due today |
| Due This Week | Items due within the current week |
| Due Next Week | Items due in the coming week |
Cases / Leads toggle
The main chart area can be toggled between:
- Cases — case volume over time, status breakdown, priority distribution
- Leads — lead intake over time, lead status breakdown, conversion rate
Activity feed
A real-time feed of recent actions across the organization (cases created, steps completed, clients added, etc.).
2. Clients Tab
Switch to the Clients tab on the dashboard for:
- A list of recently added clients
- Client activity metrics (new intakes, active cases per client)
- Quick links to client profiles
3. Team Tab
The Team tab shows:
- Each team member's active case count
- Steps assigned to each person and their completion rate
- Overdue items per person
Use this view during team check-ins to identify bottlenecks or re-distribute workload.
4. Tips
- Set up Admin Settings → Notifications to receive email summaries of the dashboard metrics.
- Check the Team tab weekly to ensure work is distributed evenly.
- The Overdue Items card is your daily priority signal — click it to drill down into the list.
